Chairman of the Central Youth Movement Center (GP) Ansor Yaqut Cholil Qoumas called on Ansor and Banser throughout Indonesia not to be hostile to the ex-members of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) after the organization was officially disbanded by the Government. Even Yaqut asked the ex-HTI members to be embraced and invited together to build the country.

According to Gus Yaqut, the ex-HTI is the brother of the faithful, the brother of an ukhuwah Islamiyah so it is obligatory to not be hostile, ostracized. "Against the different beliefs we respect, establish good relationships, especially this is a fellow Muslim, obligatory law," he said.

Nevertheless, related to the government's move to dissolve HTI through Perppu No. 2/2017, Ansor fully supports. The reason, as organizations-legal organizations HTI movement is considered to have been against the Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, and threaten the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia.

"From the beginning we did ask the government to disband the HTI because clearly their movement endangering the Republic of Indonesia, contrary to the basic state of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Pancasila and NKRI are final, can not be contested," he said.

Gus Yaqut instructed all members of Ansor and Banser to oversee the government's decision to dissolve HTI.

"Ansor and Banser must synergize with all components of the community guarding the government's steps, but remain in the corridor of the law, leave it to the authorities, not to move on their own," said one Gus Yaqut
