Mbah Moen: August The Glorious Month of Indonesia and the Great Moon on the Side of God

Mbah Moen called Indonesia's independence from the colonizing country is a great blessing of God that should be grateful to the children of the Indonesian nation.
"Ya ilâhana, August syahrul mu'azzham 'indanâ wa syahrul mu'azzham' indaka (August is the great month for us and the great month for you)," said Mbah Moen in one of his series of prayers at the assembly of dooms of Hubbul Wathan at the State Palace , Central Jakarta, Tuesday (1/8) night.
In August you send your messengers. In this August you give us the favor hurriyah (independence) wal istiqlal (self-reliant). We were independent 72 years ago, said Mbah Moen in his prayer.
Mbah Moen also asked Allah SWT to give strength to the leaders of the Republic of Indonesia.
"O Allah, the diversity of Indonesia is Your blessings. All of this though different in essence is one, according to your word li ta'ârafû (to understand each other). We are different tribes, hundreds of languages, and different religions, "insisted the Al-Anwar Sarang Pesantren.
He also appealed to Allah SWT that the Indonesian nation is kept away from the divisions and disputes among the nation's children.
Mbah Moen's prayer is shared by hundreds of pilgrims present. There are dozens of scholars and kiai from various regions in Indonesia, President Jokowi, Vice President Jusuf Kalla, and the ranks of the cabinet.
