Ibrahim bin Adham paused and then said, "Brethren. There are ten things that cause your prayers not answered by God.

First, you know God, but do not fulfill His rights.
Secondly, you read the Quran, but you do not want to practice the contents.
Thirdly, you admit that the devil is a very real enemy, but with your heart to follow in his footsteps and orders.
Fourth, you claim to love the Messenger of Allah, but you like to abandon his teachings and sunna.
Fifth, you desperately want heaven, but you never do heaven's master practice.
Sixth, you are afraid to be put into hell, but you are gladly busy with the deeds of hell.
Seventh, you confess that death must come, but never prepare to face it.
Eighth, you are busy searching for the disgrace of others and forgetting your own defects and shortcomings.
Ninth, you every day eat God's sustenance, but you forget to be grateful for His favors.
Tenth, you often take the body to the grave, but never realize that you will experience something similar. "

After hearing the advice, the people were crying.
On another occasion Ibrahim looked moody and cried, but nothing happened. Someone asked him. Ibrahim replied, "I see the grave that I will occupy somewhat terrible, while I have not got the antidote. I see the journey in the hereafter so far, while I have not got anything.
