No longer Recognized by the Government, Police Threaten HTI if Insist on Do activity

The Government has officially dissolved Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) by revoking the legal entity status of the organization. Police also reminded HTI to no longer perform any activities, including protests.
"If they demonstrate on behalf of HTI will be dissolved immediately," said Police Public Relations Division Head Insp. Setyo Wasisto at Police Headquarters Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (7/19/2017).

Setyo also ensures the police will not grant HTI permits to conduct activities because the organization is no longer recognized by the government.

He also threatened not to hesitate to process legally if HTI still insist on doing activities. He also reminded, there is a criminal threat for community groups that impose activities without the permission of the police.

"If the organization has been dissolved, there should be no activity, it has been dissolved by the government. But if the board is still strong, still claiming they are the organization, it will be processed because it is not allowed," he said.
Setyo invites HTI to take legal action if it is not accepted by the government.

"Yes it has been delivered if he does not agree to convey to the court, filed a court," said Setyo.
