OECD Survey: Indonesian People's Trust to the Highest Government in the World
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) released its survey results related to the level of public trust in the world against its government. As a result, Indonesia under the leadership of President Joko Widodo is in the top position.
The level of public confidence in the Indonesian government, according to the OECD, reached 80 percent last year, an increase of 28 percent compared to 2007 at 52 percent.
This figure is the highest when compared with developed countries joined in the OECD, such as the United States 30 percent, Britain 31 percent, Germany 55 percent, France 28 percent, and non-developing countries OECD. Namely, India 73 percent, Brazil 26 percent, and South Africa 48 percent.
The results of the survey are contained in the OECD publication entitled "Government at a Glance 2017" on (13/7). The report, published in the OECD publication entitled "Government at a Glance 2017" on (13/7/2017), summarizes the various indicators of public sector achievement of OECD countries, including Indonesia.
One of the chapters in the report raised the theme of the achievement of government work programs as indicated by the indicators of the level of public confidence in the government. In this regard, the OECD uses the results of a survey conducted by one of the international survey institutions based in the United States, namely the Gallup World Poll (GWP).
