Priced Rp15 Millions, Motorcycle Creation children of the nation is Ready to be Exported

Themoderatemuslims.blogspot.co.id - Motorcycles made by students of Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology Surabaya, Gesits will begin production next year. Production and assembly will be conducted at PT WIKA Industrial and Construction plant located at Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java.

Chief Executive Officer of Garansindo Group, Muhammad Al Abdullah said the electric-powered motor will be produced as many as 50 thousand units per year. As the initial stage, will begin to be marketed in the areas of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi and Bali.

"The target is first Jabodetabek and Bali, then expanded to all of Java with a production capacity of 50 thousand," said Abdullah at WIKA Plant, Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java.

He also believes this Gesits motor can penetrate the export market in 2020. But at least, the motor can swallow success in the domestic market. Abdullah also hoped the government support to be able to popularize the electric motor produced by the nation's children in the country.

"As long as we can suffice here, in 2020 we should be able to export.We at Garansindo since the beginning of joining ITS in fact our vision and mission is not only for ordinary electric motor but which can compete not only national standards but also exports," he said.

Abdullah explained that the motor plan will be marketed in Indonesia at a price below Rp20 million. According to him, the price is arguably affordable given the price of batteries in the world is down, especially the motor has many local components.

"The price is above Rp15 million below Rp20 million is roughly, all made with local components, only the seal battery that is still imported, electric motor is so expensive," he said.
