The Story Of The Prophet Khidr And The Blessing Of Seven Worshipes

Themoderatemuslims.blogspot.co.id - The story of Prophet Musa 'alaihissalam who wishes to learn to Prophet Khidr' alaihissalam so often conveyed by teachers, ustadz and kiai in various forums of science studies. Narrated, in a journey of Prophet Moses to three times to question the actions of the Prophet Khidir who judged to violate the Shari'ah of Allah. At the end of his journey, Prophet Khidir explained about his actions.

One of the deeds in question is where the Prophet Khidir built a house that almost collapsed in a village. Prophet Moses proposed to the Prophet Khidir to ask the wage of the villagers for his willingness to reestablish the wall of the near-collapsed house. Whereas earlier when the two prophets had entered the village and asked for food to the people they refused to give the food.

In this case the Prophet Khidir explained as recorded by the Qur'an in Surat al-Kahf verse 82:

وأما الجدار فكان لغلامين يتيمين في المدينة وكان تحته كنز لهما وكان أبوهما صالحا فأراد ربك أن يبلغا أشدهما ويستخرجا كنزهما

"The wall of the house that almost collapsed is owned by two orphans in the village where under it there is a treasure for both of them. The parents of both children are virtuous people. So your Lord will both reach adulthood and will take away his treasures. "

Imam Ibn Kathir in the Tafseer of the Qur'anul 'Adhim explained that the two orphans were guarded because of the piety of their parents and did not mention the piety of the two children. Between the two orphans and godly parents there is a difference of seven generations of ancestors. So what is meant by "godly parents" in that verse is the grandfather of the seventh generation of the orphans, not the parents who gave birth to both.

The verse also shows that a righteous will be guarded by his descendants and the blessing of his worship will encompass them in this world and the hereafter. With his intercession in the future will be raised his descent in heaven to the highest degree so it can be a pride for the pious person.

In this case Tajudin Naufal in his Hadiqatul Auliya' said, if the piety of the seventh grandfather alone can provide benefits for the seventh descendant, then what do we think with the piety of biological parents? Undeniably, a good tree must bear good fruit. The one who eats it will not stop and remain eternally good with the permission of Allah Ta'ala.
From this a lot of scholars who advise the parents to continue enterprising and istiqamah in worship. Because the blessings of worship will not only be enjoyed by ourselves but also by children of descendants both in the world and in the future later. (Yazid Muttaqin)
